my favourite holiday destination is sri lanka, i have been there twice, people are friendly, lots of places to visit, loads of food and brilliant weather.
I haven't been to that many places tbh, but my favourite was North Cyprus. My Granddad is Cypriot so it was nice to go back to our roots. It was very relaxing over there, scenic & quite undiscovered. I hope I can go back again when my kiddies are older :)

My favourite holiday destination that I'd love to go to would be the Isle of Wight!
I remember going there as a child, and would love to take my two boys.

So pleased I'm not the only one picking UK, I've not had a foreign holiday yet (Dave wants to go back to Sydney so I guess I will be soon though!lol) After this summer I'm going to have to say Cornwall, I loved the time we spent down there. Everywhere was so beautiful, there was so much to do and the people were really friendly that we met :-)

There's lots of places I've still never been and would love to visit, but one of my favourite holidays so far was Amsterdam (no I didn't sample any of the local 'delicacies'!). It's a beautiful city, the people are really friendly and there's so much to see there. 3 days wasn't enough and I'd like to go back one day.
P.S. my captcha for posting this is plookify - I now have visions of an evil plook fairy who turns up in the night to plookify you ...argh I've been plookified! :D

Newquay here! Also another never been abroader, but hoping to go to the south of france soon. Newquay is so gorgeous and the cliffs and surfer dudes make it like being abroad in the UK :D
My favourite place has to be Tsilivi in Zante, Greece. We went this year and within a day of getting home i was already online looking for flights back out there.
Beautiful place, beautiful weather, beautiful people.

Ooow ought one. My fvourite destination abroad has to be Egypt. Stunning place, saw sunrise on the Sahara, rode camels, cruised down the Nile, a simply fantastic holiday.
But I do love this country too. My favourite place in the UK has to be Cornwall. More specifically Tintagel. Simply magical.

My favourite destination has been Mexico - so relaxing & enjoyable esp as it was a kid free holiday. Family holiday would have to be Algarve it is always ace when we go.
North Norfolk coast - easy to get to...loads to see and do whether you like the beach, country or exploring the villages. Even had our honeymoon there.
Bulgaria is beautiful... avoid the 'sunny beach' hotel strip as its just a giant tourist hive but the rest is fantastic with lots of little empty beaches and hiden towns / villages. plus its not to long a flight which always helps.

Ok so my fav holiday destination is really sad lol! But I love Butlins Skegness! Everytime we've been its been a ball, there's so much to keep the kids happy and Its ace that they have a lovely nursery you can drop the kids off at for a few hours and have some adult time!

I've only been to a few places on holiday but I have to say the best place was Almeria in Spain. Right on the SouthEast Spanish coast, just across the water from Morocco. In fact on a clear day, you can see Morocco from the coast! I loved it there soo much I stayed for 4 years!! Meeting the husband helped!!
Beautiful scenery, beautfiul people, wonderful food and wine!
I used to love going to Portugal in Spain,a lovely holiday destination :)

Koh Samui a tropical island - When hubby and I visit we always vow never to come home again.
He can run a scuba business and I can teach at the local school. Heaven on Earth...
Mine is Cornwall, love it so much we got married ther, love north Cornwall, the Helston area, well all of it. Love the colur of the sea, the deserted beaches that are hidden treasures even in peak season such as Bedruthan.

My favourite place in the whole wide world is the Greek Island of Kefalonia. Tony & I go there whenever we can afford it and although we've looked at other places to go we always end up choosing to go back there, we've even talked about retiring there one day :)
